How To Contact Me:
The best way to get information to me ASAP is by a note. If you give it to
your child I will get it, I may not receive the note in the morning but I
will find it before the day is over.
Another great way is to email me
jaclynbogue@yahoo.com
I check me email at least once per day and I will respond quickly.

Moon Observation in Science
The students will be watching the moon
for five weeks in winter. We are learning about the sky and weather, a form
and more information will be handed out in mid December.

|

Over the next few weeks of school
until December 15th the students will be creating several winter
and holiday crafts, if you have any questions please contact me. We will be
making snowmen, paper gingerbread houses, and reindeer books to name a few.

Reading Tips for you student:
Comprehension- what took place in the story,
ask questions what happened in the beginning, middle and end.
Characters- who was your favorite character, why? They can
draw a picture to illustrate.
Fluency- able to read without to many pauses. You may want to
model this for them and have them listen to you read.
Clues- let them look at the pictures,
do a picture walk before reading the book, having the students look at each
picture and guess what will take place in the story.
Show Good Reading Skills, by picking up a book or a newspaper and reading with your child or family.
