The following individuals are the top runners so far. The guidelines were to run during the lunch recess. This recess is 15 minutes long.  The challenge was set to keep children active during school. The event is visible to all of the staff and students.

A Project Fit America School
Sierra Vista ES received a grant several years ago.
The grant was from Project Fit America
The PFA curriculum is an integral part of the physical education program. The PE teachers continue to teach about cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, agility and nutrition. PFA stresses all of these areas which lead to a healthy lifestyle for our children and adults.
