Sierra Vista Elementary CSI After School Clubs

Sierra Vista is proud to announce that once again we are the recipient of a Community School Initiative (CSI) grant that provides FREE afterschool programs for its students! 


Sierra Vista Families this year the CSI will be offering  6 after school clubs.


Archery—4th and 5th Grade

Monday-Coach Wilhelm  in the gym

Tuesday-Coach Argano in the gym

The student must attend both days.

Art Club

Tuesday - Ms. Farrow in room  33

There will be two sessions. The first session is in the Fall for K –2nd grade.

The Second Session is in the Spring for 3rd-5th.

Please come to the office to pick up registration forms.


Chorus-4th and 5th Grade

Thursday– Ms. Hutchinson in the Fine Arts classroom

Guitar Club– 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade

Tuesday or Thursday– Mrs. Anaya in the Fine Arts Portable P-29

The clubs will begin ....... at 2 pm and end at 2:50 pm. Space is limited in each club. If your child is interested in participating in any or in all the clubs please feel free to pick up the permission forms in the office. Please return them as soon as possible to the office or your child’s teacher.

Community School Initiative (CSI) Grant

The Community School Initiative (CSI) grant is funded by the ABC Community School Partnership.  Partners include Bernalillo County, the City of Albuquerque, APS, United Way of Central NM, and the Albuquerque Business Education Compact.  The objective of this partnership is to provide elementary and middle school-age children opportunities to thrive in before and/or after school time environments that encourage improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities.
